Looking for a new Wordpress Theme … or an old one, but just something other than the K2 we have had for a while.
As was our desire with K2, we want simplicity. Of course, the geek may come out and with it feature creep, but we should be able to justify the noise. Hopefully we can keep it simple stupid.

Stinkin’ encrypted code…. Webby Blue 1.0 had encrypted code in it, which i am not in the mood to deal with, so we are back to an updated K2.

I am not in the mood to manually tweak the theme, so the default option to display an “Archive” page link on the main menu, even though the option to show this is un-checked, is rather frustrating. Checking the option, then un-checking it did not remove the page link. So, back to the Webby Blue 1.0 theme…for now.

So far, these are the themes tried in the past couple days:
Clear 1.2.3 by Niyaz PK
Cutline 2.2 by Chris Pearson and David Peralty
Hybrid 0.7.1 by Justin Tadlock
K2 1.0.3 by Various Artists
minimalism 1.0.3 by Christian Genaehr
Minimalist 1 by Joey Robinson
No-frills 3.0.1 by Jess Kim
The Erudite 2.5 by Matt Wiebe
Webby Blue 1.0 by Just Skins
Currently using Cutline 2.2, at the time of this comment. I am not sure the pure greyscale is user-friendly, from a practical perspective. Locating hyperlinks and such is somewhat annoying. We shall see…
